Project 365, Hearts, Day #276 (1006)

Hello,

I hope you had a good day.  Here is my heart for day #276 (1006).

These are some fun hearts tonight.  Alyssa and I were talking before her appointment today, about drawing and the Inktober illustrations she is doing this month.  She already did some very detailed illustrations and I was saying how I kind of get stuck with my hearts, thinking there is only so much you can do.  She offered suggestions of a skeleton or mummy with its heart coming out (Since I am in a Halloween mood).  I thought I would give it a try and sketched a traditional looking mummy but I didn't like the look of it or what I could do with the composition.  I went back and started with a traditional heart sketch and then filled in my mummy design.  I inked up the mummy parts.  I did sketch in some hairy edges but decided to erase my sketch lines first and see what they looked like.  I loved the way the images looked without the defined edge.  So a couple of fun mummy hearts for tonight.  I hope you enjoy these two!

Have a great evening and thanks for stopping by.

Take care,
Kelly
