Project 365, Watercolor, Day #29

Hello,

I hope you had a nice day.  I spent the day working on a hall closet.  It was sort of a closet storage room before the remodel, but now it is a traditional closet with door.  I am trying to organize and optimize space now.  I have always been thinking about it, but when some things are new and organized, I want it all to be organized.  I just wish it could be done quicker.  : )  I did not think it would take one day for the closet, but it did.

Chris showed me some of his sunrise and sunset photos he has been taking during his runs and those were my inspiration for tonight.  Here is day #29.

I wanted to use the oranges and reds that were part of the photos.  I love how the photos look like impressionist paintings sometimes.  I wanted to try and paint with that abstract feel but I know I don't have the detail of the fine brush strokes that I needed.  I know I need to spend more time on a painting for that kind of detail, but I didn't have the time tonight.  I am happy with what I painted though.  I hope you enjoyed this one.

That's all for now.  Have a great evening and thanks for stopping by.

Take care,
Kelly
