Project 365, Day #58

Hello,

I hope you are doing well.  Tonight we have a meeting at school, so I wanted to get my butterfly done early today.  We won't eat until we come home and then I know I won't want to go work in the studio.  I am already tired, so I knew it would be difficult.  Here is butterfly #58.

I was working on a birthday card for a friend and these are some of her favorite colors.  I was also going to do another stepped up version of the certainly celery card from the other day, but then I thought that was silly.  I still have quite a few days left of this project, so doing two butterfly cards in one day is not necessary.

Supplies:
Whisper White Card Stock - 100730
Core'dinations Card Stock - Pool Party  - 129321
Basic Black Card Stock - 121045
Basic Black Ink - 126980
Word Window Punch - 119857
Modern Label Punch - 119849
Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch - 119275
Big Shot - 113439
Beautiful Butterflies Bigz Die - 114507
Manhattan Flower Embossing Folder - 114517
Lacy Brocade Embossing Folder - 127819
1 1/4" Two Tone Ribbon Basic Gray/Basic Black - 129295
1/8" Basic Black Taffeta Ribbon - 119261
Illuminate Glimmer Watermark Stampin' Pad - 126857
Stampin' Dimensionals - 104430
SNAIL Adhesive - 104332
Glue Dots - 103683
Stampin' Sanding System - 129367

I am obviously still on the black and white kick.  They are just classic colors that work together.  A different element that I haven't used in a while is the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch.  I punched the Pool Party Core'dinations Card Stock with it and then added that to the left hand side of the card, behind the Whisper White embossed layer.  I also added a little border of the punched pool party behind the Modern Label Punched greeting.  I did brush the card with the Illuminate Glimmer Watermark Stampin' Pad.  It might be a little hard to see.  If you click on the picture to enlarge it, you may see it better.  Here is another view.

I was thinking about adding some bling with the basic rhinestones but I decided not to.  I still might make another version with the bling.  I hope you enjoyed this one.  Have a great rest of your evening.  Thanks for stopping by!

Take care,
Kelly
