Project 365, Day #51

Hello,

I hope you all had a good day.  I'm not sure if you really want to read about all the details of my day or not everyday?  I always over think everything!  I would like to hear your comments about the blog. : )  Today was a stressful day and that's enough said.  I wanted to make a card again tonight.  Here is butterfly #51.

This is a very simple card.  A basic whisper white card with a greeting stamped on whisper white and then layered on basic black card stock.  The butterfly and the 1/4" strip are from the primrose petals core'dinations card stock.  I sanded the core'dinations card stock to expose the core layer and give the distressed look.  The center of the butterfly is basic rhinestones that I colored with a black sharpie.  I really do like creating my own color rhinestones that way.  A really simple trick.  Of course there are dimensionals behind the butterfly wings and the greeting.  Here is another view for you to see the depth.

Supplies:

Whisper White Card Stock - 100730
Core'dinations Card Stock - Primrose Petals - 129322
Basic Black Card Stock - 121045
Basic Black Ink - 126980
Beautiful Butterflies Bigz Die - 114507
Window Frames Collection Framelits Dies - 129021
 Rhinestone Basic Jewels - 119246
Stampin' Dimensionals - 104430
SNAIL Adhesive - 104332
Glue Dots - 103683
Stampin' Sanding System - 129367

I hope you like this simple card.  I did have another version with a vintage faceted button but it looked a little off.  I think I put the greeting to far to the right in this card.  I can always see something else once I take a photo of it and see it on the computer.  Sometimes it's easier to see the space and relationship of the elements on the card.  Well that's all for tonight.  Thanks again for stopping by and enjoy your evening!

Take care,
Kelly
