Project 365, Day #50

Hello,

Today was a day of catching up from the long weekend.  Paying bills and that sort of fun stuff.  I decided to do a card for tonight's butterfly.  Here is butterfly #50.

This is a 3" x 3" card.  The butterfly is made with crochet trim adhered to card stock and then cut out with the butterfly die.  I embossed the black card stock with the Lacy Brocade embossing folder.  I then brushed the raised edges with the Illuminate Glimmer Watermark stampin' pad.  I wrapped the linen thread around the card 3 times and then added the basic pearls to the center of the butterfly.  Here is another view.

Supplies:

Very Vanilla Card Stock - 101650
Basic Black Card Stock - 124267
Lacy Brocade Embossing Folder - 127819
Illuminate Glimmer Watermark Stampin' Pad - 126857
Beautiful Butterflies Bigz Die - 114507
5/8" Crochet Trim - 118481
Pearl Basic Jewels - 119247
Linen Thread - 104199
Glue Dots - 103683
Stampin' Dimensionals - 104430
SNAIL Adhesive - 104332

I adhered the butterfly to the card with glue dots and dimensionals.  I doubled the dimensionals on the top half of the wings to make them pop even more.   Thanks for stopping by and have a good night.

Take care,
Kelly
