Project 365, Day #46

Hello!

I hope you are doing well.  I had a busy day as usual.  I'm sure that is probably the same for all of you.  I did a card for the butterfly card today that was actually a step up from yesterday's 3 x 3 card.  The thing is I really like it and might want to submit it for a contest to Stampin' Up!.  If I do, it can't be posted anywhere before.  So I am going to wait to show you that one and I made another card.  Here is butterfly #46.

This is a very simple card.  I was going with the look of an addressed envelope.  The butterflies are the color on color background stamping.  The colors of the card stock are Crumb Cake and Rich Razzleberry.  I like the color combination.  The card is ok, in my book.  I like the concept but I am one of those people who always need more layers or dimension.  So the card seems a bit flat to me.  I am trying to let go some and go with what I did.  So I went with this new concept instead of starting over.  It's funny because Molly just walked by and said 'It is so cute!', so you see, it's always different through new eyes.  I hope you enjoyed this.  Thanks for stopping by and have a good evening!

Take care,
Kelly
