Button Rewards Program

I have wanted to do a rewards program for my customers as a thank you to you for your continued support.  I also wanted to reward you for your orders online and at home workshops.  This is a little different from other reward programs you may have seen.  The qualifying amount is different at a home workshop because there are more benefits for attending a home workshop, such as making two projects and my rewards basket that you get to choose items from.

Here are the details on earning my Button rewards:

• Effective July 1, 2011  - All orders need to be placed through me to qualify.
• Place an on-line order through my store:,
or email me an order:, or place an order at a workshop.
• For every increment of $40 online or email, $50 workshop order (before shipping, handling and tax), you earn a Button.  Separate orders may not be combined to reach a point.  For example an order of $39 online, would not qualify for a button.  An order of $81 would qualify for two buttons, when placed online.
Product totals exclude shipping, handling, sales tax and any amounts paid toward items in the Hostess Rewards program (including supplements to Hostess Dollars and 50% off items).
• You will still earn hostess rewards for product orders over $150.
• You will be responsible for tracking your orders and buttons.
• Earn 13 buttons and email your tracking sheet, or include a tracking detail in the body of an email. One customer per tracking sheet.
• I'll confirm your tracking sheet and send your free stamp set.
• Buttons are good for one year from initial purchase. Buttons must be redeemed within 45 days of qualifying for stamp set.
• Terms and conditions are subject to change.

I hope you enjoy this new benefit.  Thank you for your support!

Take care,

Happy New Year!

I wish everyone a Very Happy and Healthy New Year!  I hope everyone had a great Holiday Season!  The time sure does seem to fly by.  The girls start school tomorrow and are not excited about that.  I have to say we all we have a hard time getting up early and back on schedule : ).  We all have enjoyed sleeping in.

Of course I have a few Resolutions and goals for this year.  I would like to see how long they last, hopefully longer than January, just kidding.  : )  Really though, I always have grand plans and it's just a matter of working them in with everything else.

I would like to focus on adding more ideas and tips to the blog.  It is always a learning process though and sometimes it takes all day long, just to do one thing.  It can be very frustrating because I would rather be creating new things.  I am definitely not computer savvy but I am learning.  I would love to know what you would like to see here.  Drop me a note and let me know any ideas or suggestions you have.

Here is a picture of my New Years card I am sending to family.  I started doing New Years cards because I always seemed to run out of time at Christmas.  I find the down time after Christmas nice to sit and stamp and make my cards.  It is a simple layout with a few details.

Lots of dry embossing on the front.  One of my favorite things to do using the Big Shot embossing folders.  They make it so easy.  Great impact, little effort.  Another new favorite of mine is to color the Rhinestone Jewels with a permanent marker.  It's fun to add different colors of bling.
I print the inside from a word document.  I have four to a page and then it is a few simple cuts and my insides are ready to go.

That's all for now.  I look forward to a great 2012 and I wish the same to you!!

Take care,
