It's hard to believe I live in Southern California, when I have been waking up to 36 degrees. : ) I feel like I am back in New York. Just waiting for the snow now. I love the snow this time of year and have missed it. I would like to see it, just not sure it should be at the beach, but hey, who knows.
I wanted to share something I saw on another demonstrators site and pass this along to all of you.
When school resumes for Sandy Hook, it will be in a new building. Parent-volunteers are working to ensure that the students are welcomed back by a winter wonderland with the entire school decorated with as many unique snowflakes as possible.

Connecticut PTSA is deeply saddened by the tragedy that has struck our Newtown community. We have met with the PTA and community leaders in Newtown and Sandy Hook Elementary to offer our assistance at this very difficult time. They have asked us to spearhead the following efforts on their behalf:
Snowflakes for Sandy Hook
Please help the students of Sandy Hook have a winter wonderland at their new school! Get Creative!! No two snowflakes are alike. Make and send snowflakes to Connecticut PTSA, 60 Connolly Parkway, Building 12, Suite 103, Hamden, CT 06514, by January 12, 2013.
I hope you can all join in helping make snowflakes. I started making snowflakes again every year, after watching 'Elf' the first time, and decorating the house with them. So we have already already been working on them. I am also trying to see if we can do something at the girls schools. I hope you can join me and others to help out with the snowflakes!
